AbstractOligomeric polyaniline (o-PANI) in emeraldine base (EB) form was blended with epoxy resin to form interpenetrating network. The cured film was doped by dipping in an acetic acid solution of p-toluene sulphonic acid. The PANI/epoxy resin composites showed a very low threshold concentration of o-PANI (lower than 1 part o-PANI per 100 parts resin) for electrical conduction. The microstructure of the conductive composites was studied by means of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
