AbstractIn the presence of Tween 80, the enzyme catalytic reaction characteristic using hemoglobin ( Hb) as mimetic peroxidase and recessive brilliant green ( RBG) as, donor substrate in the oxidation reaction with dissolved oxygen has been studied. In pH 5.64 (NH4)(2)HPO4-KH2PO4 buffer solution, the method for the determination of Hb was proposed based on the oxidation of RBG with dissolved oxygen. Effects of various surfactants on enzyme catalytic reaction were investigated. The possible enzyme catalytic reaction mechanism in micelle media was also discussed.
