AbstractOrganic/inorganic nanocomposites based on 1D nanostructured CdS and a functional organic dye, 3, 4, 9, 10-perylene tetracarboxylic acid, was successfully prepared by soft solution processing route in aqueous solution. The resulting nanocomposites was characterized by XPS, XRD and TEM.
