AbstractSulfonated multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWNT-(OSO3H)(n)) can act simultaneously as a dopant and template for the formation of conducting polyaniline(PANI) nanostructures.. By controlling the aniline/MWNT-(OSO3H)(n) ratio, two kinds of nanotubes-PANI-coated MWNT-(OSO3H)(n) nanotubes and PANI nanotubes doped with MWNT-(OSO3H)(n) (see Figure)-can be obtained.
