AbstractThe optical-limiting (OL) properties of new palladium nanoparticles based on a C-60 derivative are investigated using nanosecond laser pulses at 532 nm wavelength. The nanoparticles in chloroform solution exhibit better OL performances than C(60)in toluene. The main origins concerning the OL are discussed.
