AbstractThe initiation reactions in the anionic non-equilibrium polymerization of octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (D-4) initiated by silazyllithiums were investigated. It was found that the structure of the substituents on the Si atom had great influences on the initiation activity of silazyllithiums.
