AbstractAn easy and low-cost method for the determination of adenosine, adenine and uracil in Cordyceps sinensis (Beak.) sacc and artificial Cordyceps by capillary zone electrophoresis was presented. Adenosine, adenine and uracil were baseline separated and quantitatively analyzed under the buffer conditions of 15 mmol/L disodium. tetraborate + 14 mmol/L sodium dihydrogen phosphate + 5 % (V/V) methanol (pH = 9.5), applied voltage of 18 kV and detector wavelength of 254 nm. The linear relationships between the concentration of three components and their peak areas was good (r greater than or equal to 0.9991). In addition, the effects of buffer pH value, concentration and organic modifier on the migration behavior of the solutes were also investigated.
