AbstractNanoparticles have been widely utilized in bio. logical research in recent years. 1,6-Hexanedithiol was used as the medium in this work to attach An nanoparticles on the gold plates. We studied the immobilization and hybridization of DNA probes onto the resulted plates using the quartz crystal microbalance method. Approximately 3-5 times adsorption enhancement of HS-DNA on the plates was obtained under our experimental conditions. Using this DNA sensor, the sensitivity was promoted by approximately three times to 0.35 mug/mL.
