AbstractIn the presence of a rhodium catalyst, alpha,beta -unsaturated esters and ketones (1a-f) react with phenyltrimethyllead 2 in aqueous media and under an air atmosphere to give the corresponding conjugated addition products (3a-e) in high yields.
