AbstractTwo novel fluorescein-C-60 dyads have been synthesized. Fluorescence quenching in the dyads indicates a photoinduced intramolecular electron transfer from the fluorescein to the C-60 moiety. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
