AbstractA new method of detecting laser magnetic resonance in the gas phase that employs the measurement of a modulated photoacoustic signal is reported in this Letter. The technique is applied to a study of the NO2 spectrum using both Light intensity and laser cavity frequency modulation. The method is demonstrated to have higher sensitivity than the usual absorption techniques. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
