AbstractFullerene derivatives C60NAr 2 were synthesized by the reaction of fullerene C-60 with p-substituted phenyl azides in refluxing chlorobenzene. The structure of each product was elucidated on the basis of FD-MS, UV-Vis, IR, H-1 NMR and C-13 NMR as a closed aziridine at a 6/6-ring junction.
