AbstractOrganic photovoltaic cells (OPVs) based on tetrathia[22]annulene[2,1,2,1] (TTA)/[6,6]-phenyl-C(61) butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) heterojunction were fabricated and investigated. The optimized device performance displayed a power conversion efficiency (eta) of 0.23% with open-circuit voltage (V(oc)) of 0.16 V, short-circuit current density (J(sc)) of 3.1 mA/cm(2) and the fill factor (FF) of 0.46.
