AbstractThe electron paramagnetic resonance parameters (g factors gxx, gyy, gzz and hyperfine structure constants Axx, Ayy, Azz) are interpreted by taking account of the admixture of d-orbitals in the ground state wave function of the Cu2+ ion in a KH2PO4 (KDP) single crystal. At the same time, the local distorted structural parameters of the Cu2+ impurity center in a KDP crystal have been obtained. The theoretical results agree well with the experimental findings.
