| Abstract | A lanthanide coordination polymer [Eu-2(Suc)0.5(BC)(3)(OH)(2)](n) (H(2)Suc=succimc acid; HBC=henzoic acid) has been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and was characterized by X-ray diffraction single crystal structure analysis, elemental analysis and IR spectra. The title complex crystallizes in triclinic, space group P (1) over bar, with a=0.681 1(2) inn, b=1.2062(4) nm, c=1.606 3(5) nm, alpha=69.416(4)degrees, beta=82.855(4)degrees, gamma=74.869(4)degrees, V=1.192(7) nm(3), Z=2. Infinite inorganic walls formed by lanthanide ions, three-bridging hydroxyl group, and an edge-sharing "center dot center dot center dot Eu-O-C-O-Eu center dot center dot center dot" chain, which link to each other through the carbon atoms of the succinate anions and phenyl,groups of the benzoic acid ligands, leading to a two-dimensional open framework structure. The photoluminescent property and the thermogravimetric analysis of the title complex were analysized in detail. CCDC: 644783. |
